I am Jessica Rigby. I was born and raised in Long Beach, California and have spent every summer of my conscious years in foreign countries studying other cultures with my Anthropologist father. I went to Humboldt State University for two years right after High School, and had to leave due to family reasons and was just short of having enough units to transfer to another CSU, so here I am at a Junior College, saving money and transferring to Sacramento State next fall. I am an English Major, Theater Minor and plan on teaching both in High School in a few years time. I am a certified rescue diver, and assistant Scuba dive instructor and have had had over 60 night beach dives under my belt with which I participated in the kelp restoration project down in Orange County. I love poetry, music, and wine! I hope to better my writing skills in this class. =]
